AINSCOUGH, James. August 7, 1927 -

September 11, 2011. James was born in Wallasey, England and during World War II, he proudly served with the 6th Battalion British Parachute Regiment. In 1953 he immigrated to Canada with his wife and children. Known for his courageous strength of character, sense of adventure, infectious laugh, warmest smile, unmatched sense of humor and a generosity that will be remembered by all who knew him. A dedicated husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle, friend and more. His family loved him dearly, and he will be missed and remembered by them always. James is survived by his wife Iris, his life-long love for more than 65 years, his four children, grandchildren, one great grandson, his sister and many nieces, nephews and in-laws.
