TODRICK, James (Jim)

Passed away peacefully at his home in White Rock, B.C. on August 25, 2008, after dealing with cancer for two years, handling it with great dignity and grace.

Jim was born in Vancouver, B.C. on November 14, 1942. At 5 months of age he moved to Westwold, B.C. and then at age 14 he moved to Kelowna where he graduated from High School.

He attended University of B.C. and went on to be a District Sales Manager with Proctor and Gamble in Toronto, Calgary and Vancouver. He then went on to pursue one of the passions of his life, opening up his own cruise agency "Cruise & Vacation Counsellors" in White Rock, B.C. He won a number of awards for sales in Western Canada from many cruise lines. Together with his wife Linda they escorted numerous tours to every continent of the world even Antarctica. He had many good friends who will miss his charismatic personality, his sense of humour and incredibly kind nature. He was a true gentleman. There are several destinations still unexplored by the Todricks and Linda hopes to carry on Jim's traditions of travel.

Jim is survived by his loving wife Linda, his mother Georgina Todrick, daughters Michele Tiegen (Terry), Tracey Clark (Joe) and Lisa MacFarlane Reid (Tim) and his sister Margaret Berry and 8 grandchildren. He was predeceased by his father Lloyd and younger brother Rob.

Many thanks to everyone at the Fraser Home Health Services and to Dr. Charles King and Dr. Jim Robson for their compassionate care.

At Jim's request there will be no service.
