It is with great sadness that the Strutt Family announces the passing of their mother Jean on the 7th of November at the age of 96 at the Care Life Fleetwood Long Term Nursing Facility in Surrey, B.C. Jean was predeceased by her husband William Albert Strutt. She is survived by her three children Mary Swangard (Graham) of Kitchener, ON, Bill Strutt of Surrey, B.C. and Brian Strutt (Joan) of Surrey along with six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Jean was a long time member of the United Church in the Vancouver area where she served as a soloist, organist and leader for both junior and senior choirs. The family would also like to express their gratitude to the staff of Care Life Fleetwood -- Alder House for the care shown to their mother.
