Grandma Eleven. BURNS, Jean Ann (Kinniburgh) was born on July 4, 1931 in Detroit, Michigan, widow of Thomas John Burns (deceased). Jean fought valiantly to overcome a major heart attack but unfortunately died on September 4, 2011 at Peace Arch Hospital. Jean's family and friends are blessed that she was in our lives with her humour, empathy and kindness. Mom's sister Laurie and Pete Richardson and their family, her children and grandchildren Susan and Tom (Matthew Christopher Allison) Stephen and Teresa Burns (Scott Craig Brian) Elaine and Doug Noltie (Aislinn Brianne Caitlynn) and Colleen Rickson (Victoria and Emily. Her Mermaids and great friend Dora will carry her in our hearts. There will be a Celebration of Jean's life on Saturday September 17, 2011 at Jean's condo at 12:00.
