She was a member of one of the early hospital auxiliary groups and sang over the years in both church and community choirs. Jean was a long time and active worker for the Association for the Protection of Fur-Bearing Animals. She is survived by Vin, her loving husband of nearly 60 years, children Bill (Gerri), Cathy (Barry), David (Jessica), brothers Frank Walters (Shirley), Bill Walters (Pat), sisters Joyce (David) Primrose and Margaret Walden as well as a large extended family.
