The beloved daughter of Douglas (deceased) and Helen Cowley, Jean will also be sorely missed by her seven siblings and their families.
She passed away at Morgan Place in Surrey, B.C. following a long illness.
Jean taught Home Ec for over 30 years, including many years at Johnston Heights, Princess Margaret and Elgin Park Secondaries.
The family would like to express their deep appreciation to Dr. Amrish Joshi and to the staff of Morgan Place, Peace Arch Hospital, and the White Rock Hospice Society for the warmth and professionalism of their treatment.
A Memorial Service will be held 2:00 pm Wednesday, December 10, 2008, in the Fireside Room, White Rock Baptist Church, 1657-140th Street, Surrey, B.C. Former colleagues are welcome.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
