With sadness we announce the passing of Jean on December 1, 2020 at the age of 85 following a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's.
Jean is survived by Sterling, her loving husband of 64 Years; three daughters; three grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
Jean was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, completing a nursing diploma and post-graduate maternity nursing certificate in 1955. While raising her family, Jean managed a very successful home-based business and later returned to maternity nursing once her three daughters were grown.
Following retirement, she and Sterling enjoyed many years travelling across Canada and the US, spending the winter months with friends from many parts of North America. In 2006, they relocated permanently to White Rock, BC to be closer to grandchildren and the beauty of the Pacific Northwest.
Sterling and family wish to express their deepest gratitude to the wonderful care team on the Oasis Community at The Terraces, Evergreen Baptist Campus of Care, White Rock, BC, and to all those who have blessed Jean with friendship, comfort and support throughout the final chapter of her life.
