November 18, 1920 - November 5, 2018
Just 13 days to her 98th birthday, Mom passed away peacefully on November 5, 2018. She was predeceased by her husband Ronald in 2009. She is survived by daughter Rhona (Keith) son Ian (Lucille) twin daughters, Morag (Doug) and Gena, grandchildren Christopher, Adrian, Iain (Mai) and Colin, great-grand children Gabrielle, Nathan and Summer and nieces and nephews in Scotland.
Mom was born in Dundee, Scotland on November 18, 1920 and immigrated to Canada in March of 1957 with her husband and children and lived a long and happy life in Vancouver. Mom had the opportunity to travel to Scotland, Hawaii, Mexico and the Caribbean with her family.
For the last 1 1/2 years Mom resided in long term care at White Rock Seniors Village where she was surrounded by loving and caring staff. We can't thank them enough for the wonderful care and compassion that she received.
Mom always had a smile on her face and charmed everyone around her. She is going to be missed. "Lang may yer lum reek"
