Jim passed away peacefully at Delta View Habilitation Centre on Monday, April 28, 2003. Jim grew up on a family farm in Brant, Alberta and was a pilot in the RCAF before flying for Canadian Airlines. Most of Jim's 30 years with Canadian Airlines were spent living in the White Rock area where he was an avid fan of minor hockey and girls' soccer.
Jim will be greatly missed by his mother Eva, wife Carol, son Mike (Camille), daughter Jodie (Geoff) and grandchildren: Matthew and Kristen, Fraser and Connor. A Service will be held on Monday, May 5 at 2:00 p.m. at Victory Memorial Park, 14831 - 28th Ave., Surrey. In lieu of flowers, donations to Delta View Special Care Unit/East Ladner Hospital Auxiliary or the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
