Passed away unexpectedly at Peace Arch Hospital November 5, 2005 at the age of 68.
Predeceased by Bob, her husband of 35 years, and her grandson Bryan, both in 1999.
Will be forever missed and lovingly remembered by her daughter Kim (Lorne); sons Robert and Chris (Bev); grandson Jason; great-grandson Bryan; great-great-grandddaughter Hailey, mother-in-law Gladys; sisters-in-law Anne and Joan (Wes); as well as a number of extended family members and friends.
Joan was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba September 18, 1937.
Her family moved to Victoria, BC in 1956 and she was married in 1959.
Joan, Bob and their family spent many years in the Victoria area and on Pender Island.
Joan retired to White Rock in 1997.
Her greatest passion was her family and she loved gardening, reading and her country drives.
A Celebration of Life Service was held on November 26, 2005 at 1:00 pm at 1437 Foster Street, White rock, BC
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
