VAN GEEMEN, Johanna Tijtske (nee van Commenee). Johanna was born in Amsterdam, The Netherlands on December. 5, 1932 and passed away, surrounded by her family, on August 10, 2014 in Surrey BC. She is lovingly remembered by her husband of 61 years, Theo van Geemen. She will also be missed by her children Bill, Susan (Steve), John (Roelien), Debbie (Glen), Nell (Luke), Patricia (Dave) and Richard, her 20 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren & many extended family members & friends.
Johanna is predeceased by her sister Annie van Commenee, her brother Dilo & wife Leni van Commenee & granddaughter Nicole van Geemen. Johanna had a joyful outlook on life; a kind, encouraging & gentle spirit. Family & friends knew that she always put people first & God above all. A beautiful soul now rests with her Lord and Saviour. You will be sorely missed; we love you so very much.
