Dad passed away peacefully at home on the morning of Feb 28 after a courageous and dignified battle with cancer.
He is survived and will be missed by Margaret (Perka), his loving wife of over 45 years, his daughter Karen (Charles) and sons Allan (Laura) and Keith (Sandy), grandchildren Hannah, Kendra, Marc, Samantha, and Miranda; sisters Ann, Sr. Elsie U.J., Irene (Ted), Isabelle (Joe), Hilda (Denis) and brothers Frank (Doreen) and George. John is predeceased by his sister Lena and brothers Jack (Thelma) and Jerome (Karen).
A funeral Mass was held at Good Shepherd Church in Surrey on Tuesday, March 4, 2008. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sr.'s Retirement Care Res. Bldg.
