John (Jake) Petrunia passed away peacefully with his family at his side at Melville Hospice Home in White Rock at the age of 92.
He will be missed deeply by his wife of 59 years Josephine, his daughters Joanne (Brad) and Janet and his son Johnny (Tara), his grandchildren Samantha (Zach), Austin (Becky), Damian, Hailey (Peter), Isabelle, Eliza and Ayla, his brother Mike (Maureen), his sisters-in-law, his brothers-in-law, his many nieces and nephews and all of his family and friends.
A special thank you to John's doctor, Dr. John O'Brien, and the caring staff at Peace Arch Hospital and Melville Hospice Home.
A funeral mass for family and friends will be held at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in South Surrey on Tuesday, July 20th at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to your favorite charity.
