John Q. passed away in the afternoon of May 9th in the Royal Columbian Hospital. He was predeceased by his wife Eileen in 2010 and is survived by three sons; Jim (Elaine), Wayne (Margaret) and Grant (Margaret) along with 5 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
John was well known as the Owner of Royal Oak Realty in South Burnaby for many years. Early retirement allowed Mom & Dad to enjoy 30 plus winters at Venture Out RV Park in Mesa, Arizona, where they made numerous friends and enjoyed life.
John was a fisherman, a woodworker, and a volunteer and he touched many lives. He was a true "people person" who always had something to say.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 14th @ 1:00 pm at Northview Golf Course, 6857 168th St., Surrey. In lieu of flowers, donations to The War Amps or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
