January 20, 1927 to January 21, 2004. It is with deepest sadness that the family announce Jack's passing at the Royal Columbian Hospital on January 21st. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Alice of 51 years, his son Alan and daughter Alison. Jack was predeceased by his father and mother and sister Betty. He leaves his brother Bruce (Merrell) and sisters Doris (Bert) Copp and Daisy Wells, along with in-laws and nieces and nephews. Jack was employed by Kelly Douglas for a period of 33 years, he started as a produce clerk and on his retirement was Produce Retail Marketing Manager for B.C. After retirement he greatly enjoyed time on the golf course with co-workers, family and friends, enjoyed travelling, and watching the Canucks. He will be fondly remembered by all for his happy and humourous attitude. He was loved by all who knew him. In lieu of flowers donations can be sent to an organization of your choice, Heart Foundation or Peace Arch Hospital Foundation. Jack's memorial will be held at Valley View Funeral Home in the Arbor Chapel, 14660 - 72nd Ave., Surrey, B.C. on Wednesday, January 28, 2004, 10:00 am.
