WELSH, John Franklin

John was born in Ayr, Scotland and passed away in White Rock, BC. Predeceased by his parents Percy and Flo, and brother Tom of Calgary, John leaves his loving family - wife Anne Low of South Surrey; UK family - brother David and sister in law Jean Welsh, nephews Colin & David and families; sister Liz and brother in law Ken Peach; cousin Hugh Houston and family; daughters Siobhan and Shelley and grandchildren Ryan, Shannon & Gemma. In Canada John will be especially missed by son Gordon, daughter Jennifer and grandson Aidan; Scott Low and Deb Copeman and grandsons Finley and Spenser; Meredith Low and Adam Sadowski and granddaughters Lily and Ruby; sister in law Marie and nephews Doug and Don Welsh and families; niece Karen, Pierre, Julia and Sara Cauty; & all the Machan clan, especially mother-in-law Doreen. John had many friends through his work at Scotia Bank in Toronto and Vancouver, and Canaccord Capital. He enjoyed membership in the Network Breakfast Club, Probus Club and St. John’s Presbyterian Church in White Rock. A modest, witty, gentle man he remarkably was piped into his own Celebration of Life in March.
