In loving memory ~
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Joe on July 21, 2023, at the age of 76 at Melville Hospice House in White Rock, B.C. Beloved husband of 53 years to Carolin (nee Wood) and devoted father to Ryan (Alanah). Joe was a beloved grandfather to Maddie, Mya, Matteo, Tristan, Anthony and Charlie. Cherished brother to Stephanie Grubic (Frank), brother-in-law to John Wood (Rose), Anne Parker, Brett Wood (Cathy) and Tracey Cavalieri. He will be remembered with love by his nieces and nephews and cousins. Joe was predeceased by his parents Ljubica and Joseph Fuduric, in-laws Joyce and James Wood, sister Mary Binicki and brother-in-law Mike, brother-in-law James Wood Jr. and nephew John Wood Jr.
Joe was born and raised in Windsor, Ontario. A student of Gordon McGregor Elementary, Walkerville Collegiate and St. Claire College. He started his work career at Chrysler Canada and spent five years with Seaboard Life Insurance (Sal Marketing Division) ending his work life at Nissan Canada and retiring in 2008. As per Joe's wishes, there will be no funeral service. As your expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of our choice.
The family would like to thank the doctors and staff at Royal Columbia and Peace Arch Hospitals and special thanks to Melville Hospice House.
We believe there are angels among us, brought down to us from somewhere up above. They come to us, in our darkest hour to show us how to live, to teach us how to give, to guide us with the light of love. Joe, you are our special angel; We love you.
