ANDERTON, JOYCE - 1925 - 2009 - late of Christina Place, passed away at Peace Arch Hospital after a lengthy illness. She is survived by her daughter, Stephanie Harvey (Bob) of Hamiota, Manitoba, grandson James Blatz (Shona) of Winnipeg, Manitoba, and great granddaughter, Robin. Joyce was predeceased by her husband Walter Anderton in 1997, a son Nicholas Anderton in 2000, who is survived by his wife Joan, daughter Patricia Lynn (husband, Glen Henderson) great granddaughter, Elin in Ontario. She was also predeceased by her granddaughter Elizabeth Harvey in 2000, in Brandon, Manitoba. Joyce will be missed by her special friends Ella Woodman and Reta Herman, the many friends she made through the MSOS seniors group, and staff and friends at Christina Place. Special thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff of Peace Arch Hospital and the wonderful staff at Christina Place. No services by request. Cremation will take place at Victory Memorial Park Funeral Centre. Ashes will be interred at a later date in the family plot in Tarbolton Cemetery, Manitoba.
