On April 19, 2019, the love of my life, Joyce Edith Margery, passed away peacefully at the age of 93, in White Rock, BC. She was the mother of our three children, Brian (Danielle), Cheryl (Kelly) and Donna (Glenn), grandmother and great grandmother to a total of 14 grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Joyce was born on September 14, 1925 in Burnaby, British Columbia, to William and Florence Wright. On May 21, 1949, Joyce and I were married, a relationship that spanned over 70 years.
Throughout her life, she was a devoted wife and caring mother, who remained so focused and strong during times of joy, triumph and difficulty. Joyce and I laughed together and loved to challenge each other, which was the secret to our wonderful marriage. She was and remains the most important part of my life. I will cherish that forever.
Joyce made our house a home and welcomed all who came. Her radiant smile followed her everywhere as she spread goodness on her own special path through life.
Joyce left us peacefully on Good Friday. Heaven has a special new angel. Knowing that she is in God's hands is very comforting during this very difficult time.

A celebration of life service for Joyce will be held on Friday, May 3, 2019 at 2 pm at Peninsula United Church (Crescent Site).
