Joyce Hussen

August 1, 1923 - September 3, 2021
Joyce Hussen passed away peacefully at the wonderful age of 98 of natural causes, all the while surrounded by her family's abiding love.
Joyce is survived by her children, Lynne (Len), Keith and Roger (Mari Anne), grandchildren Kerri (Robb), Shannon (Cameron), Robin (Dewey), James, and Tracy (Roben), and great-grandchildren, Megan, Jenna, Cole, Ryan and Jordan, nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends.
She was predeceased by her loving husband Bill on June 22nd 2010 and also by her brother, Dennis O'Brien.
Joyce is remembered as a lovely lady, with a smile that lit up the room, and being warm and friendly while taking time with everyone she met. She was a faithful Anglican, and an avid volunteer, offering her service in all the communities in which she lived.
The family wish to thank Dr Angus McDonald for his care over the past 15 years, and the wonderful staff at Whitecliff Seniors' Residence, Concord Seniors' Residence and Peace Arch Hospital for all their love, support and kind attention.
A service to celebrate Joyce's life will be held on Sunday Sept. 19 at 2 pm at St Mark Ocean Park Anglican Church, 12953 - 20 Ave. Surrey.
