1917 - 2008
Joyce passed away peacefully surrounded by her family singing her favorite songs on November 2. She was 91 years old. She is survived by her husband Leslie , sons Ken (Terrie), Richard (Gayle), Howard (Brenda), and daughter Elizabeth (Doug), 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Les & Joyce met and married in the Forestburg area of Alberta, raised their family in High River Alberta and retired to White Rock in 1979. Joyce had spent the past 5-1/2 years under the gentle care of the kind staff at Hogg Pavilion of the Peace Arch Hospital. She was a unique and dignified lady to the end. Always interested in everybody and most everything and much beloved by all those close to her.
