Joyce Standeven

Our family announces the passing of Joyce Standeven, on September 10, 2021. Constance "Joyce" Standeven lived a faith-filled and full life, passing peacefully with loved ones by her side, at the age of 89. Joyce was born in Liverpool, England; she spent most of her life on the west coast of British Columbia, settling in White Rock in the last few decades with her husband Jim (predeceased September 10, 2007).
Joyce enjoyed a career in physiotherapy, the love of her family, a large network of amazing friends, and her faith. She is survived by her children Stephen, Chris (and wife Sharon), Jo (and husband Mitch), Bill (and wife Shirley), numerous grandchildren, and a few, recent great grandchildren.
Joyce lived her life with passion, kindness, and a deep faith. She was well known at the Sunday Night Community Dinners held at Gracepoint Community Church, as well as the home group bible studies that she led with her husband in their earlier years.
A celebration of life event will be held on Saturday, September 25, at 1pm at Gracepoint Community Church in White Rock. In lieu of flowers, donations can made to the Sunday Night Community Dinner program at Gracepoint Community Church. http://gracepointca.monkpreview2.com/giving/
