June Ida Holm (nee Kofoed)
Passed away on November 1st. Born on April 23, 1931, in Calgary, she was adopted by Danish immigrants, and grew up in Ponoka, Alberta.
June worked at Eburne Sawmills and B.C. Tel in Vancouver before marrying Hans Conrad Holm in 1953. She raised her 5 children in Vancouver and White Rock where the family moved in 1976.
June dedicated herself to mothering her children and happily declared herself to be a "Holm-Maker"!
June was predeceased by Hans in 2005 and is survived by her children: Sheila (Scott) Nevison, Mark, Jeffrey (Patti), Sharon, and Barry (Tanya) Holm, 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
