HOYRUP, Karen
Sadly, we announce that Karen passed away on August 8, 2007.
She was born on January 9, 1909, in Denmark. She was predeceased by her husband, Ernest, in 2001. Karen and Ernest immigrated to Canada in 1947, and moved to White Rock in 1952.
She loved her family and her life in Canada, and she always saw the best in people, and the positive side of all situations.
She'll be missed by her children, Peter, Finn (Valerie), and Grace (Jerry), her grandchildren, Stacy (Mark) and Dane (Kelly), and her great-grandchildren, Christian and Nicholas. Also by her very special nephew, David (Ilene), and his children, as well as nieces and nephews in BC, the USA and Denmark.
Special thanks go to the staff at
Westminster House, where she enjoyed the last 2½ years of her life, feeling cared for and loved.
In accordance with Karen's wishes, no service is planned.
