Much loved Mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt passed away quietly at Peace Arch Hospice on Tuesday February 23, 2021. Karen was born in Serridslev, Denmark and immigrated to Canada in 1957 where she settled in Pincher Creek, Alberta until she moved to British Columbia in 2014. She will be fondly remembered by many friends and family. Karen is predeceased by her husband Arne and her son Paul and is survived by her daughters Norma (Jerry), Connie (Peter) and Rita (Kelly), grandchildren, Tony, Amie, Jaimy and Tami, great-grandchild Jasper, her brother Peter,sister in-law Jenny in Denmark, nieces Sonja and Lillian in Denmark and their families.
A celebration of life for Karen will be held later this year in 2021. In lieu of flowers please donate to a charity of your choice.
