Kathleen Rosemary Allen (nee Oldham) passed away peacefully on June 4, 2018 at the age of 90 in White Rock, BC.

Kathleen was born May 30, 1928, in Indian Head, Saskatchewan and moved to Sardis, BC in 1936. She married Lyle S. Bradwell, 1948-1951. Following Lyle's passing, Kathleen raised her sons in Chilliwack and Kamloops. She married Bill McMordie, 1960-1965, Bill died in an accident. Kathleen married Bill Allen, 1972-73, and resided in Shreveport, Louisiana before he passed. Her remaining years were in BC, settling in White Rock.

Kathleen will be remembered for her spirituality, selflessness and inspiration to others, kindness, thoughtfulness and helpfulness. She was an excellent and respected Bridge player, playing both locally and travelling for tournaments always giving her winnings to the local Women's Centre. She volunteered for Hospice and spent many hours as a Volunteer Driver for cancer patients.

Her love of travel took her many places around the world with regular annual stays in Costa Rica and Mexico. Kathleen's meditation practices and quest for healthy living and eating also took her to conferences and retreats. She was also known for her generosity, giving and caring nature donating regularly to ten charities.

Survived by sons Ken (Louise) Bradwell of Jaffray BC, David (Gerrie) Bradwell of Tappen BC, and Lyle (Peggy) Bradwell of Willow River BC, and step-daughter Lezlie (Win) Foster of Duncan BC, grandchildren Dionne, Travis, James (Michelle), Amber and Saelle, 8 great-grandchildren, previous daughter-in-law, Judy Bradwell, and sisters Edith (Ross) Noel, Doris (Bob) McEachern, and Isabelle (Doug) Geldart, many nieces and nephews and their children.

Predeceased by her husbands, sisters - Marguerite, Dorothy, Mary and Irene and brothers - Ernie and Bob, and grandson - Brad.

A Celebration of Life was held June 10, 2018 at the home of niece Janice (John) Boots in Surrey, BC.
