Keith Alastair Robertson

Keith was born on January 3, 1920 in Buenos Aires, Argentina and passed away peacefully on November 10, 2003 at Peace Arch Hospital, White Rock, B.C. after a courageous four year battle with cancer.

Keith is survived by his loving wife Margaret, of 58 years, daughter Jill (Larry), sons Jack, and Ian (Susan): grandchildren Stacey (Forrest), Allison, and Scott. Predeceased by his brother Kenneth of Edinburgh, Scotland.

Keith served with the British Merchant Navy during World War II During the war he met and married wife Margaret, and they immigrated to Vancouver in 1949. Keith retired from his work as a Stationery Engineer at Woodlands School in 1985, and a year later he and Margaret moved to White Rock. During his retirement, Keith loved to travel, especially trips back to Britain to visit family and friends. Keith was devoted to his family, and enjoyed spending time with all of them. He will be sadly missed by his many relatives in Britain, and friends throughout Canada and the U.S.

Very special thanks to Dr. Angus MacDonald for his excellent care during Keith's precarious health situation, and to the staff of Palliative Care Unit at Peace Arch Hospital for their care and compassion. Memorial Service to be held Saturday, November 22, 2003 at 3:00 p.m. at White Rock Baptist Church, 1657 - 140th St., Surrey, B.C. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to B.C. Cancer Foundation.
