Cancer claimed the #1 person in our hearts. Ken is survived by his wife Liz; son Clinton, wife Shawna, grandchildren Owen and Charlotte; daughters Jennifer and Leah; sister Helen and nieces. Born and schooled in Richmond at Cook School and Palmer Jr. Sec High School. He was also a great story teller, painting artist, athlete and traveler.
#2 on Defence, known as the Enforcer, he had an illustrious Hockey career; Junior A's 1969/70 - Vanc. Centennials/Vanc Nats through to 1972 - onto the IHL 1972 - 1976, plus a couple of Canuck training camps. He cherished the many friendships and comradery of the teams that still carry on to this day.
32 Years of his career was devoted to BC Transit/Coast Mountain, starting as a Bus Driver and rising to the ranks of Operations Supervisor.
As a passionate self-taught guitar player with an exceptional singing voice, he enjoyed entertaining people, playing in bands, pubs, coffee shops, campfire singalongs, parties, harmonizing and jamming with friends.
We wish to thank the Doctors, and Nurses of the Melville Hospice for their compassion and care.
