Devoted husband, loving father and grandfather, Klaus passed away in the arms of his beloved partner Doris. Despite serious illness and countless surgeries over the last 7 1/2 years, Klaus' sense of humour and spirit and ability to enjoy life never faltered.
Klaus fought a courageous battle to remain with his wife and soulmate of thirty years and was an inspiration to those who witnessed his indominitable strength anbd positive attitude. He also leaves behind son Jeffrey (Lorena, Lori, Vivi), daughter Sylvia (Carissa) and sister-in-law Jill Erickson (Cory).
There is no way to ever thank Klaus' superb doctors, Bryan Prentice and John Todd. They fought alongside Klaus until the very end and helped to prolong his life these many years.
A Celebration of Klaus' life was scheduled for Saturday, June 5, 2004 at 1 p.m. at The First United Church, 15385 Semiahmoo, White Rock, (corner of Buena Vista and Centre).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Peace Arch Hospital Foundation, 15521 Russell Avenue, White Rock.
