Kristopher Adam Smythe

April 29, 2006

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the death of our beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend on April 29, 2006 at the age of 19.

Left to mourn are his beloved parents, Gordon & Bonnie Smythe; his siblings Stephanie, Carly, Trevor and Karen; and grandparents Amma Helen, Afi Larry and Grandma Delores.

He will also be sadly missed by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, plus other countless friends and co-workers.

Kris was born May 19, 1986 in Vancouver.

He attended Kensington Prairie Elementary and Earl Marriott High School where he developed life-long friendships and lasting memories.

His teenage years were filled with music, skateboarding, friendships, romances and laughter along with special family time at the cottage at Hnausa, Manitoba.

Kris's special bonds with Dan and Mike will never be forgotten.

His passion and gift for music shone through as a remarkable guitarist and drummer.

Following graduation in 2004, Kris attended BCIT where he was very excited about his Electrician's program. Although his life was short, it was full of love, passion, and happiness. It was filled with travel, family and an extraordinary aptitude for music. Kris had an easy going nature and a heart of gold.

His wonderful sense of humour, patient demeanor and friendly personality will be missed by all who knew him.

A Celebration of Kris's life will be held on Friday, May 12, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at Victory Memorial Park Funeral Centre 14831 - 28th Ave Surrey, BC.

To recognize Kris's love of animals, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a local chapter of the SPCA in his name.
