Born on December 20, 1920, Lambert passed away peacefully on September 9, 2003, after a long struggle with failing health. Predeceased by his wife, Marion in 1993 and brother Ken. Survived by his brother, Alan, sister Jean, sister-in-law Eve, children Larry (Carol), Glen (Cathy), Doug and Susan (Arch) and grandchildren Jayme, Ian, Haven, Cara, Caitlin and Marisa and many nieces and nephews.
Lambert was raised in Port Kells on the family farm and lived his whole life in the Lower Mainland. He was a proud veteran of WWII in the Canadian Navy and enjoyed travelling extensively during the war and in his retirement years.
The family would like to thank his relatives and friends and all the wonderful people who cared for him the past few years. A heartfelt thanks to lifelong friends, Bud & Isabel Bailey. Lambert’s Scottish toast will be missed at all the family gatherings.
