It is with great sadness that Larry's family announces his passing after a lengthy illness in White Rock BC.
Larry was born in Chatham Ontario to the late Eunice (Powers) and Vaughan Labadie.
Lovingly remembered by his devoted wife and best friend of 59 years, Lilian (Herle), daughter Leanne (Dave) of South Surrey BC, son Eron (Caroline) of West Kelowna BC, grandsons Vaughn, Owen and Ty.
Dear brother of Linda (late Ed Desutter), Richard (Catherine), Judy (Alan) Holtby, Warren (Mary Ellen), Dennis (Suzanne), Laurie (Tim) Monk and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
We remember Larry fondly as a mischievous child, how handsome in his RCMP uniform, success at Radio Shack, his humour, positive attitude, kindness and willingness to always lend a helping hand, his love of family and friends, love of Fanny Bay oysters, baking and sharing those cherry tarts with so many, movies, music, euchre and jitter bugging with sister Linda at high school as the Labadies were the new family in town.
With "sunshine in our hearts", LDH (Long Distance Hugs) love you more...Larry's style!
