Ed (Eddie) was born in New Westminster, the second of four children of Lawrence and Kathleen (Moore) Bolton.
Ed grew up in Surrey and spent a lot of time with his grandparents Sam and Mathilda (Tilly) Bolton in White Rock.
Ed worked for Tel-Pro as a demonstrator across Canada and as an inspector and meat cutter for Safeway for 30 years. In retirement he became a background actor in TV and film, Ed loved the role of a cowboy and being a regular on The Good Doctor.
Ed loved to travel, especially to warm places. Portugal, Panama, Florida, Hawaii and Mexico were favourite spots. He enjoyed coaching his kids' teams and being involved with minor sports. During summers Ed took his kids camping.
Ed is survived by son Ryan (wife Lilliana Bolton), daughter Wendy (husband Dusty Reis), daughter Allison Meuser (husband Peter Meuser), Bonnie Bolton (former spouse), grandchildren Aliya, Selina, Jenna, Sierra, Dayton, Maxwell (Max) and Brittany, great granddaughter Ava, sisters Terri (Bolton) Butcher and Brenda Louise Bolton, nieces and nephews Katie Archibald, Mary Archibald, Kelly King and Bob King, Ed's partner Donalda Greenwell-Baker and her son Dustyn Greenwell-Baker and many friends.
Ed is predeceased by his brother Bradley (Brad) Bolton.
Join us for a Celebration of Life Tuesday, June 28th at Ocean Promenade Hotel at 15611 Marine Drive, White Rock, from 1pm - 3pm; bring a story to share.
In lieu of flowers, charitable donations can be made to the Traumatic Brain Injury and Alzheimer Disease Fund with the VGH/UBC Hospital Foundation.
