Leona left us on July 7th 2022 for her next big adventure. She is no doubt hosting a gathering with friends and family who have been waiting to once again sit around her always welcoming dinner table.
Her husband of 60yrs, Doug, and their three children, Scott (Susanne), Heather and Drew (Kim) will continue her legacy of kindness, generosity and laughter that she instilled in everyone she met.
The joys of her life were her grandchildren, Alex, Stefanie, Carson, Anna and Tyler. She was also lucky enough to have a great grand-daughter, Nevaya.
Leona and Doug opened Elegante Shoes 36yrs ago which they proudly grew into a landmark shop for the city of White Rock. She was so grateful for the special friendships she developed throughout her personal and professional life including her posse of ladybirds.
Leona knew she was loved. She can rest easy knowing her friends and family will cherish the memories she has given them.
We will miss her family dinners but she taught us well to continue the culinary art.
Please raise a toast to this beautiful woman we called 'Nana".
