BAKER, Leonora June - passed away on June 4, 2005. Born in Melville, SK on June 9, 1932 to parents Alfred and Olive Baker, both deceased. Survived by cousins Ken Baker and Muriel Baker in England; several second cousins in England; Mary Davies (Baker) of Langley, BC; friend Sam Solomon; cousin Mary Davies' children: son Jim (Trudy) Baker of Surrey, BC and daughters Amanda, Monica, and Pat (Terry) Cuffe (Davies); second cousins Jennifer, Sandra and Joanne of Burnaby; second cousins in Ontario; as well as numerous friends and neighbours. June grew up and received her education in Melville, SK. She worked as a teletype operator for CN, first in Winnipeg and later retired from the New Westminster office. After retirement she was active as a Peace Arch Hospital Volunteer as well as local community charities. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed curling with the White Rock Curling Club. She will be missed by her relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to a charity of your choice or to Peace Arch Hospital. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, June 10, 2005 at Victory Memorial Park Funeral Centre, 14831 - 28th Avenue, Surrey, BC
