Lillian Long

March 2, 2004

Lillian Mae (nee McNally) passed away March 2, 2004 at the home where she was born on May 5, 1930.

She spent her life in and around White Rock where she has many family and friends.

Lil is survived by Roy her husband of 40 years, brother Bob (Joan), sister Lorraine, many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

Lil had a special way about her and could light up a room with her infectious giggle and warm personality. Whenever you were in her presence she made you feel special, cherished, and loved. Her family was very important to her and this was reflected in all of her actions throughout her life. She was a warm and caring person who always opened her home to others and will be sadly missed by all that knew her.

Lil loved being in her garden that has a spectacular display of colour all summer long. She took great pride in her rose garden and shared her expertise freely. If you want, you could plant a rose in your own garden in her memory as Lil often did for others.

Lillian was a true Christian and a believer in God. She is now in his care! Rest in peace Lil.

The family would like to thank the many nurses and care providers that looked after Lil furing the last few weeks. A special thank you to Dr. Deernsted for his care and compassion.

At Lil's request, there will be no service. In lieu of flowers, donations to Lil's favorite charities, Vancouver General Hospital, Peace Arch Hospital, Cancer or Diabetes would be greatly appreciated.
