Linda passed away peacefully in the hospital on June 2, 2018, surrounded with love by her family. She is survived by her husband and best friend of 42 years, Mark; her children Tammy (Phil), Jack (Phyllis), Cara (Garth), & Matthew; her grandchildren Melissa (Jon), Joshua (Kirsten), Curtis (Taylore), Clayton, Kyle, Brenan (Erin), Amy, Emma (Joab), Maya, Tia, & Maximus; her great grandchildren Jordyn, Layton, Hailey, Jack, Jillian & Henry; her father in law Ken; siblings Paul (Bonnie), Karen (Elmer) & Thea; brothers in law Frank (Judy) & Tony (Dana); sisters in law Beth (Pat) & Claire; and many nieces & nephews.
Linda was predeceased by her parents Leo & Ruth Miller, mother in law Dorothy, and brother in law Eric.
Linda was a loving wife, mother, nana, gigi (great grandma), sister, aunt and friend.
Born in 1942, Linda was raised in Everett, Washington and moved to Ladner, B.C. in 1971, where she met the love of her life, Mark Taylor. They married on October 21, 1976. Prior to that, she became a nurse's aide in 1972, where she loved working in the geriatric ward, eventually working her way to rehab assistant. She was the founder of the Hydrotherapy Pool Program at Peace Arch Hospital, which aided the arthritis society in rehabilitation.
Her passion in life was her family and she will be deeply missed by all those who knew her.
A Celebration of Life for family and friends of Linda will be held Saturday, October 6th, 2 - 5 pm at 15313 19th Ave, Surrey, BC.
