Sadly on November 12, 2005, Lisa Cubin, born February 1, 1970 was taken suddenly and unexpectedly.
Predeceased by her father, Barry in 2002.
Survived by her adored 3 year old daughter, Olivia.
Mother, Lin Cubin & Dave, sister Michelle Cubin (Brad), 2 yr old nephew Cole, Nana, Eileen Cubin. As well as many cousins and adoring friends from White Rock, England, WInnipeg and U.S.
Lisa grew up in Winnipeg, MB and made her way West at the age of 23.
She worked in White Rock over the years and met an abundance of friends who will miss her dearly, she had a special place in the hearts of everyone she met.
Lisa loved children and helped many families with caregiving in her special way.
She enjoyed being among friends and loved the holidays.
After having her daughter in 2002, she devoted all her time to being a stay at home mum for Olivia and being the primary cargiver of her nephew Cole.
She went back to work this past Fall and was excited and happpy for her future with Olivia.
Lisa always put Olivia first and wanted the best for her.
In lieu of flowers, we will be setting up a trust fund for Olivia at Van City Savings, White Rock in Lisa's memory.
A celebration of Lisa's life was held at Victory Memorial Park Funeral Centre, 14831 - 28th Ave, Surrey, BC on Tuesday, November 22, 2005 at 1:00 p.m.
Lisa will be remembered for her outgoing personality, her sentiment for occasions, cards and the simple things in life and will be greatly missed by Olivia, Cole, Mum, Dave, Brad & Nana & all her friends and family!
