Of Surrey, British Columbia left us suddenly on Sunday, May 18, 2003 at the age of 81. He is survived by his daughter Kathy (Trent), who was with him at the time, as well as two sons; Robert (Ginny) and Larry. Lloyd will also be deeply missed by his granddaughter; Laurie (Jay), and great grandchildren; Austin and Aimee. Lloyd's dedication and commitment to a wide variety of causes including the environment, his community, politics and native spirituality endeared him to many caring and dedicated friends, who will also mourn his passing. A memorial to celebrate Lloyd's life and legacy will be held at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday May 27, 2003 in the Dining Hall (Lodge) at Camp Alexandra, 2916 McBride Ave. Crescent Beach, B.C. V4A 3G2 (604-535-0015). Refreshments to follow. Donations to Camp Alexandra are requested, in lieu of flowers, to honour his conviction that "practicing humanity toward humanity is the rent we pay for our room in heaven" (unknown)
