Oct 19, 1946 - Mar 28, 2018
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Lolita in White Rock, BC. She is survived by her loving husband Tommy; father Howard Arnold, siblings Nena (Ray) Fuller, Darrell (Beverley) Arnold and Neil Arnold; children Tyler (Sherry) Sobkowich, Kelly (Rene) Pellerin, Randy (Tracey) Miller, Wade (Jennifer) Girgulis, Nicholas Girgulis, Melody Girgulis, eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, in-laws and many close friends. Lolita was predeceased by her mother Edith.

Special thanks to granddaughter Kali Desjardins who went above and beyond caring for both Gramma and Poppy.

Born in Medicine Hat, AB she relocated to Nanaimo, BC where she worked at the Army base. Numerous moves followed throughout BC, working and operating restaurants, bars and hotels where she touched many people with her generosity, sense of humour, quick wit and contagious laugh. Eventually finishing her career at the Army, Navy and Air Force in White Rock, where she met Tommy.

Lolita loved planning, cooking and entertaining her family & friends, reading gossip tabloids and news, crosswords, yelling BINGO! (although not often!), Canucks hockey and country music.

A celebration of life reception will be held on Saturday April 14, 2018 from 1 pm - 4 pm at Peace Arch Manor, 15468 Roper Avenue, White Rock, BC.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to the UBC Anatomical Sciences Research Endowment would be appreciated.
