McIntosh, E.L. (Lori) - After a full and accomplished life, Lori left us on January 20th, 2008 after a courageous battle with cancer. Her spirit, integrity and kindness will live on with her devoted family and many friends.

Born in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan in 1942, she became a successful entrepreneur in the human resource and retail floral industries before discovering passion for painting, travel and quiet philanthropy.

Lori leaves behind her beloved husband, Garry, daughters Karin and Kristi; grandchildren Severen and Finnegan; brothers Gerry and Allan (Shirley); nieces Twyla and Tara; nephews Terry and Cory; brother-in-law Ron (Marilyn) and a far-reaching extended family. She was predeceased by brothers Marvin, Harvey, Floyd and Duane.

We know Lori will live on in a place in eternity in view of Lori's Star. One of her final thoughts was to tell her friends "...not to forget their paint brushes in life ...Lori Mc"

A private ceremony celebrating Lori's life was held on January 24th, 2008.

In lieu of flowers, we ask that friends forward donations to the BC Cancer Foundation with a special note that the funds be directed to the Betty Ergas Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund, 600 - 686 West Broadway, Vancouver, B.C. V5Z 1G1.

Thank you Everyone.
