It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of (Grace) Lorraine Arnoldo at the age of 91. Lorraine had fought a serious respiratory condition for several years. She passed peacefully on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at her care home Westminster House, Surrey, B.C.

Lorraine was born on December 16, 1932 in Toronto, Ontario to Grace and Sidney Wood. She had one older brother Bill Wood. She moved to White Rock area in 1966 where she attended White Rock Baptist Church. She married Giovanni (John) Arnoldo in 1982 and together, they gave care to her elderly widowed mother who lived with them until passing in 1990. After John retired in 1994 they enjoyed travelling both in their Motorhome as well as many trips to Europe to visit John's family and friends. After giving up the RVing lifestyle they enjoyed cruising with friends and trips with the "Happy Wanderers" group from the Church.

She was predeceased by her mother Grace Wood and father Sidney Wood and her husband John Arnoldo. She is survived by her brother Bill (Joan) Wood and will be missed by nieces and nephews and the close surviving friends she has made through the years.

Viewing will be at 10:00 a.m. with a light reception followed by a graveside service at 11:30 a.m. at Victory Memorial Park Cemetery, 14831 - 28 Avenue, Surrey, B.C. on Friday, October 4, 2024.
