April 17, 1927 - January 4, 2019
On Friday January 4, 2019 Louise Agathe Steffensen (nee Simonsen) passed away in White Rock BC. Louise was born April 17,1927 in Denmark and immigrated as an infant to Redvers Sask. After graduation she moved to Winnipeg where she married Edward.
Louise and Ed raised 2 daughters, Caryl Laviolette and Gail Wilson. Upon retirement from her career as a Social Worker, Louise and Ed moved to White Rock. Louise was predeceased by her husband Ed and her grandson Bjorn Sylvest. She is survived by her two daughters, 4 grandchildren, Jennifer, Mark , Anna and Chantal as well as 3 great grandchildren, Daniel, Sophia and Adrian.
A Memorial Service has been planned for 1:00 pm on Friday January 18, 2019, at Mount Olive Lutheran Church.
In lieu of flowers, Louise would have appreciated helping children, with donations to Toronto Hospital for Sick Children or Ronald McDonald House.
