Lyla Jorgina KNUTSON (Sordahl). March 8, 1916 ~ June 4, 2012. Lyla passed away peacefully at Evergreen Baptist Care Home in White Rock. She is predeceased by her husband Karl Ingvald; her son, Clifford Larry, grandsons, Travis and John. Lyla is survived by her son, Norman (Jean); daughter, Sigrid (Edwin) Nelson; grandchildren, Lorraine, Larry, Troy, Darin, Marlene and Kevin; 11 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandson and many other relatives and friends. Lyla was born in Swift Current, Saskatchewan and married Ingvald in 1935 and moved to BC in 1941 where she raised her children. She will be dearly missed by all who loved her. A Service of Remembrance will be held at Evergreen Baptist Chapel, 1550 Oxford Street, White Rock on Sunday, June 17, 2012 at 2:00pm.
