Lyle Patrick

It is with great sadness that Lyle's famly announces his passing on Monday, September 6, 2004 at Peace Arch Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer.

Lyle was born in Yorkton, Saskatchewan on November 22,1930 then moved to Saskatoon where he made many lifelong friends at Nutana Collegiate and during his two years in C.O.T.C. He worked for many years in the oil industry in Alberta and moved from there to Commercial Real Estate which brought him to the Vancouver area.

He retired in 1993 after working for many years as Vice President of Real Estate and Store Development for Overwaitea Foods. He remained active in real estate after retirement and enjoyed his time with Century 21 Seaside Realty very much.

We will miss hs unflagging optimism and his ability to live life to the fullest.

He is survived by his wife Eileen; his children Lauren (Ed), Ryan (Sue) and Karen (Rob); his grandchildren Jenny, Kate, Evan and Kaeden.

Our sincere thanks go to the staff at Vernon Jubilee Hospital and Peace Arch Hospital as well as the Hospice Home Care for their loving care of Lyle.

A Celebration of his life was held on Saturday, September 11, 2004 at 2 p.m., at Victory Memorial Park Funeral Center, 14831 - 28th Avenue, Surrey, B.C.

In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to the Palliative Care Wards at Peace Arch Hospital or Vernon Jubilee Hospital.
