SHAW : Margaret Amelia (McKelvie) passed away peacefully Tuesday November 7th at Magnolia Gardens in Langley, at the age of 94. She was born April 22nd 1912 in Alsask, Saskatchewan. She married Raymond Shaw in 1934 shortly after her family moved to homestead in the Peace River area. After a move to Calgary where she worked in accounting and retail, they made their final move to White Rock in 1954 where they worked in the oil and gas industry. She resided there until her death.

She was predeceased by her husband Raymond Shaw (1976), her parents John (1950) and Mae (1974) McKelvie, her brothers John (1972), Gordon (1982), Austin (1985), Ronald (1993), one nephew Hubert McKelvie (1998), and one niece Joan McKay (2005). Many generations of nieces and nephews and great friends survive her. Though she had no children, she kept close contact and had a great interest in the lives of her extended family and friends. Margaret was quite proud she lived long enough to see 5 different generations of the McKelvie Family living and staying in contact.
