It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Margaret Anne Oates. She was born in Penticton, BC and passed away after a stroke in White Rock, BC. Margaret is predeceased by her parents and her brother. She is survived by daughters Debbie Pearson and Vicki Oates; grandchildren Trevor (Mike), Jordan (Krysten) and Tristan; great-grandchildren Natalya, Joslin, Hannah and Tucker; brothers Bob Peel (Karen) and Alex Peel (Brigitta). A graduate from St. Paul’s Hospital in 1955, worked in Penticton, Mission, Surrey and finally White Rock. She worked at Peace Arch Hospital for 26 years. She spent her retirement gardening, golfing, painting and playing with grandchildren. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Sunday, September 11, 2016 @ 2:00 pm at Victory Memorial Park Funeral Centre, 14831 28th Avenue, Surrey, BC.
