DARLING - Margaret passed away peacefully with her loving family at her side on Tuesday, September 8, 2009 at the age of 93. She is survived by two daughters: Sherry DeSoete (Andre) of Edmonton, AB, Pam Hemmett (Rob) of Richmond, BC; son Don Darling (Rhonda) of Kelowna; five grandchildren: Shannon, Cameron, Scott, Stacey and Sheri-lyn. Mom was born of Scottish descent, was a loving wife and mother. She and dad loved the outdoors. She had a passion for books and reading, Scrabble, card games and word puzzles. She was a great cook making her own bread and cinnamon buns into her late 80’s. Her indomitable spirit carried her through Dad’s passing in 2005 and her health issues in her last few years. She was strong willed to the end. There will be a gathering for family and friends at Don Darling’s house 2215 Golf Course Drive (Shannon Lake Golf Course) on Sunday, September 13, 2009 at 2:00 pm.
