It is with great sadness the family of Margaret Fedden announces her peaceful passing on the afternoon of May 2, 2009 after a brief stay at the Peace Arch Hospital. Margaret was born in Colwood, BC to Ernest Victor Peatt and Catherine Morrison Peatt (nee Burnett) and was the eldest
of five siblings, Pat Peatt, Eleanor (Tom) Towers, Irene (Bud) Strandell and Alfred (Eileen) Peatt who all predeceased her. Margaret was also predeceased by her love and husband Jimmy Fedden. Margaret began her teaching career at 18 after graduating from Normal School in Victoria and retired in 1973 but was a teacher all her life as those close to her could attest. Margaret leaves many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews and many friends who will remember her. Margaret's family would like to thank the first responders, the paramedics, Dr. B. Prentice and the emergency room staff for their kind and professional care. Also a very special thank you to the team who provided care to Margaret in her home; your support, understanding and patience enabled her to remain at home until her passing as was her wish. A service will be held in Colwood at a future date.
