HAYES, Margaret
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our Mum while visiting in Ottawa for Christmas, she will be sadly missed by all of her family and friends near and far.
She immigrated with her husband Tony to Montreal Quebec from Lancashire England back in the mid 1950's where she raised her family. It was our father's work at Air Canada, that brought her to Richmond and then finally on to White Rock.
We would love to recognize some of her favourite pastimes like playing doubles' tennis, the local scrabble club, her volunteer work delivering flowers for the church and her passion for gardening. Pre-deceased by her husband Anthony (Tony) Hammond Hayes Survived by her Son: Martin Hayes from Richmond, From Ottawa her Daughters: Colleen Ste. Marie (husband Edward), Karen Dudka (husband Steve), , Grandchildren Jackie Ste. Marie, Rachelle Ste. Marie, Meghan Stoll (husband John), Jennifer Nicholson, Great Grandchildren, Wesley Stoll, Jaiden Stoll. Special mention of her Sister-in-Law in Essex England Sally Hayes, Nieces: Sarah McDowell (Lee) Rachel Clarke (Paul) great nieces and nephews: Edward, Alice, Vincent & Stanley.
A memorial service/celebration of life will be held at a later date in January at the Church of the Holy Trinity in White Rock.
